Managing Broker Courses
45 Hour Package: $299
Saturdays: September 19 and September 26, 2020
9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The "Managing Broker" license is required to sponsor yourself or another in Illinois. This license is also required to be an office "Designated Managing Broker."
Part 1: 30 Hour Home Study:
Includes text book with practice questions. A 50 question multiple choice exam must be taken and passed for this course. You will have three attempts to pass the exam. It can be taken at the school location by appointment or with a proctor. Full instructor support is available and included in tution.
Topics include: Short sales, Foreclosures, Dual Agency, Contract Disputes, Minimum Services, Commission Disputes, Teams and Escrow. **Ideally, part 1 should be completed prior to the first webinar session. However, enrollment is valid for six months and it may be completed after the webinar sessions.
Part 2: Live: 15 Hour Interactive Webinar
Both sessions must be attended in order to receive credit. There is no final school exam required.
Webinars are hosted via "Click Meeting." You will not be on camera and it is mobile friendly.
Topics Include: Licensing Operations, Managing Licensees, Advertising, Dispute Resolutions, Risk Management. The instructor also reviews the topics and the overview of the structure of the State of Illinois Managing Broker Licensing Exam.
Managing Broker Requirements:
-Minimum age of 20 years old
-Licensed as a Broker for 2 out of the preceding 3 years
-Successfully complete 45 Hours of Education
-Pass the State licensing exam
