About the Course
This course meets the requirements for Part 1 (of 2) courses that must be completed prior to sitting for the state licensing exam. Part 2 (the 15 Hour course) must also be completed, totaling 90 Hours of Pre-Licensing Education that is required by IDFPR.
**Please note: recent changes in the License Act now require 75 hours of Pre-Licensing education instead of 90 Hours. The courses are 60 Hours + 15 Hours (instead of 75 Hours + 15 Hours). We are in the process of transitioning to this new requirement. All content and materials will be the most recent and updated materials available.
This class meets on TUESDAY evenings from 6pm-9pm beginning on February 25, 2020 and ending on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. **Class does not meet on Tuesday, 3/17**
The instructor will provide notes, powerpoints and lectures to explain the content in the chapters.
Course content meets the requirements set by IDFPR. The focus of this course will include a review of exam specific material, question and answer periods, along with interactive practice exams. This is an instructor led classroom/homestudy course combo in which students will read 4-5 chapters per week. A thorough review of each chapter will be given in class.
Topics include: Illinois License Law, Fair Housing, Real Estate Agency, Real Estate Brokerage, Real Property, Land Use, Environmental Issues, Contracts, Real Estate Closings, Leases, Property Management, Appraisal, Commercial Real Estate and Financing.
$359 – Includes: Broker Pre-Licensing Topics text book (Hondros Learning, 3rd Edition: this is the most updated version of the text), practice exam, timed course outline & description, review and 3 attempts at school final exam. There are no hidden fees, tax is included. Payment plans are now available for this course. There are no refunds for this course.
Course Exam & Licensing Exam
The final school exam (not State) will be given on the last day of class and it includes 125 multiple choice questions. You will have 3 attempts to pass the school exam with a minimum passing score of 75%.
Upon passing the course exam, you will receive a transcript that will allow you to sit for the required 15 Hour Course. You must complete the 75 hour portion prior to sitting for the 15 Hour portion. This course is usually held on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Upon completion of the full 90 Hour Pre-Licensing curriculum, you will be eligible to sit for the Illinois State Brokers Licensing Exam (140 questions). You are not required to complete the 15 Hour portion of the course through Net Real Estate School. All students will receive a Uniform Transcript as mandated by IDFPR.
